A video of the new Samsung Galaxy Glasses has surfaced online. The device will feature Gemini artificial intelligence, will be able to analyze the surrounding world, answer user questions, and operate without a built-in display.

The key differentiator of Galaxy Glasses is their built-in Gemini artificial intelligence from Google.

While most modern smart glasses allow you to listen to music, take calls, or take photos, Samsung’s new product should be able to do much more.

According to SamMobile, the glasses will be able to analyze the surrounding world and answer user questions about what’s in front of them.

For example, they can explain the building in front of you, help you understand an unfamiliar object, or give you directions. To do this, the artificial intelligence will use the camera image and analyze it in near real time.

Until recently, smart glasses were considered experimental devices for enthusiasts. But this is changing rapidly.

Following the success of Ray-Ban’s Meta glasses, interest in this field has skyrocketed. Google unveiled the Android XR platform, which will power its next-generation devices, and Samsung has decided to be one of the first manufacturers to offer its own AI glasses.

Experts believe such devices could be the next step in the development of personal electronics. Instead of constantly reaching for a smartphone, users will be able to receive prompts, search for information, translate text, or ask questions to artificial intelligence while walking.

An official announcement is expected before the end of 2026.
