Saber Interactive has unveiled the gameplay of World War Z VR, a shooter for virtual reality glasses. The project, based on the Paramount Pictures film and game series, will be released on August 12, 2025.
The trailer gives a terrifying glimpse of the undead hordes we’ll be facing in this action-packed title that’s reminiscent of the fast-paced action and tense atmosphere of the original World War Z video game.
World War Z VR will offer players a choice of seven heroes and will fight hordes of zombies in three gigantic locations based on real cities: New York, Tokyo and Marseille. The game promises a high level of customization for any playstyle, taking the series’ iconic madness and action to a new level of immersion designed for both VR veterans and newcomers.
World War Z VR will be available from August 12, 2025 for €19.99 on Meta Quest and SteamVR.
