Ramen VR, the developer of the multiplayer virtual reality role-playing game Zenith, is ceasing its development. The co-founders of the studio addressed the YouTube audience with words about the transition to new projects, and on their website they promised to “continue fragmented work on Zenith: The Last City and Zenith: Infinite Realms for the foreseeable future.”
The video talks about the journey of MMORPG 2022: from launch to hitting the VR charts, after which, despite the high praise, players did not stay with the project. Although Ramen VR attempted to remake the game in 2023 amid declining sales, the situation did not improve, leading to the decision to stop Zenith’s development and focus on other games.
Season 4, the last major content update of this type, will release this August and will focus on new Infinite Realms dungeon layouts and bug fixes.
