Recently, modder Talemann1982 released a VR modification for Resident Evil Requiem. It allows play with a 6 DOF controller.
This mod allows you to play with motion controllers in 6 degrees of freedom. Correct motion controls for using the axe are now available. The motorcycle section will now be in first-person (where possible). Additionally, the mod removes pitch lock in key areas to provide access to some essential button prompts.
As the modder stated, HMD movement is possible, but not officially supported yet. There are currently no body rotation or button prompts. It’s also unclear whether the modder plans to add them in a future update.
Camera shake is disabled by default, but players can enable this option.
The “RE9VR” modification for Resident Evil Requiem is now available on Nexus Mods.
