In Ukraine, a psychological section based on the Polish model has been introduced into the basic combined arms training program. It includes augmented reality tools and virtual reality technologies. All training centers have also introduced the use of VR glasses with scripted scenarios and training motivational videos – 64 videos have already been created demonstrating experience from the front lines. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have also improved the training course for squad leaders by increasing the practical component. The emphasis is on working with UAVs and electronic warfare, and the study of unit management procedures (TLP) and the process of analyzing the actions taken (After Action Review) have been added. Modern technologies are integrated into the programs, including work with the MilChat software. The new programs have been implemented since March 11.
Oleg Apostol emphasized that the use of augmented reality tools and VR technologies is provided for in all educational units.
