Last year, Google and Samsung announced an ambitious joint project – a mixed reality headset called Project Moohan. The device was first shown to the general public at a presentation alongside the flagship Galaxy S25, which generated a lot of interest in the new product. Recently, Samsung confirmed its plans to launch the headset before the end of this year, which was the subject of discussion at a recent financial conference. During the event, additional details were revealed regarding the launch date and expected price.
The VR headset will be available to purchase (at least in Korea) starting October 13. A previous report from another Korean publication said that Samsung will host an Unpacked event for the headset in South Korea on September 29.
Aside from the potential release date, Newsworks also claims to know about possible pricing, and it reportedly won’t be cheap.
It is expected to be priced between 2.5 million and 4 million won, which is significantly cheaper than its direct competitor, the Vision Pro.
