Schell Games, the studio behind I Expect You to Die and Among Us VR, has shared information about the development of a new free online party game for Horizon OS and Windows. The concept is original and breathtaking: catch-up in free fall.
Enter the world of Project Freefall, where the stakes are as high as the altitude. You and up to seven friends plummet toward the ground in this thrilling game of tag… but there’s only ONE parachute.
The rules are simple: survive. A parachute drops from a plane. Your goal? Jump out and grab it. Throw a grenade, spray a fire extinguisher, or dodge a shark as you weave through the clouds in a high-speed aerial chase where alliances are temporary and gravity is constant. The tension builds as the ground rises toward you. It’s a hilarious, masterful dance of chaos where only one can claim ultimate victory, leaving everyone else… on their way to an explosive landing.
The exact release date of Project Freefall is unknown. The authors assure that they will soon present an early version. The release will be held in the Horizon Store (Quest 2 and 3), as well as in Steam and Epic Games Store.
