Recently, a developer nicknamed dubrovskiy-yevhen-stakelogic released a modification that allows players to play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in virtual reality.

This brings full VR support to the iconic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, featuring stereoscopic 3D, six-degree-of-freedom head and hand tracking, and physical weapon interactions including one- and two-handed control, aiming, holstering, and item transfer.

Optional physical reloading for supported weapons, improved draw distance, lighting, weather effects, reflections, and several anti-aliasing options have also been implemented, and players will be able to navigate menus and vehicles in VR while playing the full story campaign.

While this is an unofficial version, it offers an impressive level of immersion and technical improvements, making the classic game accessible to VR headset owners.

GTA: Vice City VR tests are already being published online.
