IO Interective has released a short teaser for HITMAN World of Assassination, featuring a VR update that’s expected “soon,” but no details are available yet.
Fans of the franchise are speculating about the contents of the upcoming update. Many are confident that the developers will finally add the popular Freelancer mode to the VR version, which was missing from the PSVR2 release. Others are hoping for an expansion of the list of supported VR devices for the PC version or significant improvements to the existing implementation. There were also some jokes from the community – some users recalled Agent 47’s famous falls from the stairs in VR.
Hitman: World of Assassination is available for PlayStation VR2 from 2024. There is also Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded, but it did not impress critics much.
This summer, IOI also managed to release a version of Hitman: World of Assassination for iOS and bring back one of James Bond’s enemies.
