Kojima Productions continues to prepare players for the upcoming PC release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which will take place on March 19th. In a new trailer, the developers decided to highlight one of the game’s most intriguing features: a VR training mode that allows you to hone your protagonist’s combat skills.

VR training serves as a special virtual simulation. In this mode, players can practice combat techniques, test various weapons, and gear in a series of challenges without compromising their progress in the main story.

The developers note that this mode will be a convenient platform for learning the game’s mechanics. It will allow players to better master new tools and prepare for the challenging missions that await them in the main storyline, which involves connecting Australia to the chiral network.

VR Training includes several types of challenges and scenarios where players will use various weapons and tactics. This format is reminiscent of training modes from the studio’s previous projects and is designed to hone their skills before completing story missions.

The PC version of the game will be released on March 19, and VR training could be one way to extend the project’s life even after the main story is completed.
