Titanic VR Released for Meta Quest 3 and 3S

On April 15, 2025, 113 years after the tragic end of the Titanic’s voyage, the Titanic VR app was released in the Horizon Store. It will allow you to take a virtual tour of the wreck site using Quest 3 and 3S.

In the simulation, players take on the role of a deep-sea explorer and use a submarine to explore the wreckage of the RMS Titanic. According to developer Engage (formerly Immersive VR Education), the wreckage has been recreated in meticulous detail using scientific data and images from the 1985 discovery by Dr. Robert Ballard and Jean-Louis Michel.

Designed as an educational immersion, the VR game offers free exploration of the wreckage from the inside and outside, as well as story missions such as retrieving artifacts, underwater scanning, and working with a fictional Hollywood director to create a documentary. In total, Engage promises six hours of gameplay and educational content.

Titanic VR for Quest costs $15 and is only available in English. On Steam, the app will cost $20.
