Ukrainian VR game already sounds like an interesting concept. And this is exactly what the ByOwls studio is doing, creating the game Whispers of the Void, where players will travel around the galaxy in the role of treasure hunters. And now the studio has also released a demo on Steam.
In Whispers of the Void, you don the spacesuit of a representative of a rare profession – an artifact hunter, a daredevil who explores the most distant corners of space. In the course of a routine mission, searching for an artifact on behalf of an old friend, you suddenly find yourself in the middle of a conspiracy on a galactic scale.
Players start the game in a spaceship and must warp jump to a distant desert planet. There, they will be introduced to a dynamic combat system that combines gunfights and swordsmanship with energy swords, solve ancient puzzles, climb a mountain and face the first boss of the game. In the adventures, the players will be helped by a loyal friend – a resident frog.
The demo, published as part of Steam Next Fest, contains the first mission of the game and introduces players to most of the key gameplay mechanics of Whispers of the Void.
