After a year in early access, the full release of the VR shooter Z.O.N.A: Origin from the Ukrainian studio AGaming+ took place. This is an action horror game with survival elements, inspired by the atmosphere of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone itself.

Z.O.N.A: Origin imagines a new disaster in the area of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which initially makes the Zone safer. But by 2030, everything collapses again. Scientists and hired stalkers are sent to study the emerging anomalies – but none of them return. Now players must enter the Zone themselves, navigate the hostile environment to survive and uncover the truth behind the disaster.

The game has everything that fans of the genre have come to expect: dangerous mutants, rival gangsters, and powerful artifacts hidden among the ruins. Combined with the immersive perspective of virtual reality, Z.O.N.A: Origin aims to recreate the harsh, unpredictable nature of life inside the Zone – a mixture of survival, mystery, and exploration.

The game currently has an 86% positive rating based on 262 reviews on Steam.
