Starting December 11, 2025, a new immersive virtual reality expedition will transport visitors back to the era of Ancient Egypt, during the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The Horizon of Khufu virtual tour in New York City allows you to walk in the footsteps of the pharaohs and see the pyramids as they were 4,500 years ago. Led by a virtual guide, you’ll walk through Giza and enter the Great Pyramid. Along with other participants, you’ll discover a world that changed the course of history. Architecture, everyday life, and beliefs—everything is recreated with astonishing accuracy. For a moment, it feels like you’ve left the 21st century and found yourself in the heart of Ancient Egypt.

While New York City has its share of VR projects, “Geographical Horizon” is unique. Spanning 10,000 square feet (929 square meters), it creates a fully immersive experience of Ancient Egypt. Before arriving in Manhattan, the exhibition has already wowed audiences in Montreal, Atlanta, and Calgary.

Whether you’re interested in history, technology, or simply looking for a unique experience, “Geographical Horizon” is an epic journey through time and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The Horizon of Cheops has already been visited by over 1 million people worldwide.
