Enthusiast Holydh has presented a VR modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas The Definitive Edition, thanks to which you can play the game in virtual reality.
It’s all here: walking, crouching, shooting from vehicles, flying – and every long-range weapon gets its own recoil animation. There’s also a working sniper scope and an in-game camera with zoom functionality. It all runs through UEVR Nightly Release 01042, so you’ll need that installed if you want to dive into the game. But once you’re in the game, San Andreas is a whole new beast.
This mod doesn’t just bring the game to VR – it reimagines how you interact with it. You’re not just playing CJ anymore. You are CJ.
The mod “6DOF motion controls VR for San Andreas – UEVR Plugin” is distributed free of charge via Nexus Mods. The modder warns: the modification only works with the Steam version of the game.
