Triangle Factory announced that its Battlefield-inspired VR shooter Forefront is finally coming to PSVR 2.

A release date has not yet been announced, beyond the studio’s initial announcement, but Triangle Factory has confirmed that when the game launches, the 32-player shooter will “support cross-play with other VR platforms.”

Developed by the same studio behind Breachers (2023) and Hyper Dash (2021), Forefront offers gameplay that should be quite familiar to fans of the Battlefield series.

Featuring vast, partially destructible environments, this 16v16 battle game lets you pilot everything from helicopters and tanks to armored vehicles and boats as you advance toward your objectives.

Forefront is currently available in Early Access for all major VR headsets, including Quest, SteamVR, and Pico. And over the past three months since its Early Access launch, the game has performed extremely well.
