Vivo presented its own mixed reality headset Vivo Vision at the Boao Forum for Asia. The device turned out to be a complete copy of the Apple Vision Pro.
The device replicates almost all the key visual elements of the Vision Pro: curved glass on the front panel, a fabric insert around the face, two downward-facing cameras, a knitted strap for fastening on the back of the head, and an external battery in an aluminum case connected to the headset using a braid. Even the cable itself looks identical to the cable from Apple. And the name Vivo Vision itself clearly refers to the Vision Pro, and this no longer seems like a coincidence. Moreover, Vivo uses the term “spatial computing” – Apple’s signature formulation – to describe the capabilities of its device.
However, apart from the design, Vivo has not revealed any technical specifications or features of the device. Sales in China are expected to begin in mid-2025.
